Welcome back to the Wildcast, in what was a interesting weekend in the QMJHL!
The Wildcats were on the road for the first time this weekend, maybe only half the trip happened but it was a successful Friday as they got the come from behind win, with goals from an unlikely source!
Breaking news during the show, that has an effect on this weekends action, which if it's allowed will be home vs SeaDogs & Islanders.

Home Opening Weekend

The Wildcats 25th Season kicked off this weekend, was just great to be back in the rink but the Wildcats went 0-2 losing to the Islanders Friday night and to Titan Sunday afternoon. 
We get into these games, and what didn't quite go right, as well we look ahead to the Wildcats first road trip this weekend vs Halifax and SeaDogs.
We also get into the news from around the Q, as the Armada and Remparts were put on pause and then a positive test for Armada made Phoenix pause activities as well(more test found after recording)

Final PreSeason Show

WE MADE IT!! 
The QMJHL season is 48 hours away and we couldn't be more excited and we had a jam packed show for ya!
We had Jonathon Roy of Sur la Route Du Junior join us to help us talk about the East and West divisions in Quebec as well we get into our predictions of the Golden Puck League Awards and who will be in the QMJHL Presidents Cup Final.
We also had Wildcats Play by Play voice Tim Roszell join us to get his thoughts on what he saw form this young squad during the preseason. Jeremy and I gave our predictions for some Wildcats end of season awards as well

Roster is set....we thought

The Preseason is coming to an end as the Wildcats took on the Titan last Saturday and came close but ultimately lost 5-4 in OT. We saw the roster had been finalized and then we were surprised by a late release Tuesday afternoon.
We get into our "View from the other bench" looking at what to expect from the Cape Breton Eagles this season and had a chat with friend of the show and voice of the Eagles Pat McNeil about the upcoming season. 
Final preseason game is this Friday, will we see Fortier in the lineup?

Don't Panic, it's preseason

We are getting closer to the regular season, as the Wildcats know only have 2 games left, sadly the Cats dropped the game Sunday to the Eagles 7-4, but can get back in the win column next Saturday vs Titan.
We break down our thoughts not only on the goaltending with the quick question, but also the 20 year old situation now that Fortier is back and in quaratine.
We go across the bridge for a "View from the Other Bench" and preview the Charlottetown Islanders season, how close are they this year, as well we have a chat with 20 yr old Thomas Casey on his Q career and about this season.

Perfect PreSeason..so far

The Wildcats made some cuts this week, there were couple names on there that were a suprise to be sent home, and we discuss some names making impact.
The Wildcats go 2-0 in the past week during preseason schedule, including the first road win of the preseason. 
We get a "View from the other bench" as Mike Sanderson (play by play voice) and Jaime Tozer (Station Nation) joined us to discuss the upcoming season for the SeaDogs.

Hockey (preseason) is Back!!

We are back to playing preseason hockey, as the Wildcats had 2 scrimmages Monday/Tuesday and then took a 6-1 victory over the Islanders. Who impressed us, and how hard are these choices going to be as camp gets cut down from 34 to 27 by Friday. 
We had a chat with #PhilTheThrill Phillipe Daoust about last season, camp so far and the upcoming season. 
We take a "View from the other bench" as we look ahead to the Halifax Mooseheads season, we have a chat with play by play voice Garreth MacDonald about last season and what to expect from the Moose this season.

We're Going Camping

Training Camp roster was released and there were some was a name not many expected to be listed and some names that were missing from the list. We let you know who we're excited to see at camp and what could happen with 20's.
We also start our Maritime Division Preview, with a View from the Other Bench as we preview the teams in this division coming into the season, and we begin with a look at what the Acadie Bathurst Titan could look like this season and catch up with former Wildcat and current Titan Forward Mark Rumsey!

Season 4 Premier

We are back, back again!! 
Wasn't sure this day was going to come this quickly, but we're back talking hockey as we catch everyone up on the QMHJL return to play format as well as we chat about Wildcats Training Camp!
We don't have official camp rosters just yet, but we have a pretty decent idea on who will likely be here and what this season could bring to "limited" fans in the Avenir centre this year!

SEASON 3 FINALE

What a week that was for the Moncton Wildcats, the draft has come and gone which also means that it's the Season Finale of our show!
The Wildcats had a bittersweet draft as they traded away franchise cornerstone Jakob Pelletier to begin the rebuild process, which in turn netted a good return to help this rebuild and we had a chance to sit down and chat with Pelts about his time in Moncton and about the trade. 
We also had a chance to chat with Ritchie Thibeau, who was the man that not only made the deal but also used those picks to bring in some talented players over the weekend.
