Annual PreDraft Epidsode

Welcome back, we are just 10 days away from the QMJHL draft as Round 1 is June 5th LIVE on QMJHL Youtube and Rounds 2-14 are Saturday June 6th so the episode is a little long but that means it's time for the Wildcast Annual Pre Draft Show! 
This week we get into some league awards, as well what Moncton could do with the draft picks they have in the 3rd or 4th Rd (among others) depending how these deals shake out come closer to the actual draft and Jeremy tells you what names to keep an eye on! 
We had a guest join us from the Sur la route de junior podcast Jonathan Roy as he and Jeremy discuss their Top 10 Mock Draft, a HOT RUMOUR within the Top 5 picks as well we ask what Bathurst may do with their first round pick!

100th Episode!!! (part 2)

What a ride it's been, 100 episodes so far, I truly can't believe how far this show has come!! 
So what's better then one 100th episode..TWO 100th episodes!! We had such a jam packed episode that we couldn't fit in all into one!
Part 2 was a really fun episode as we caught up with former teammates Conor Garland and Stephen Johnson to talk about their time with the Wildcats as well as life after hockey and answered some fan questions!
Thanks again to Conor, Steve, Nic and Bo for being guests and to all our guests over these past 3 seasons but more importantly to EVERYONE that has downloaded this show, your support means the world to us!

100th Episode!!! (part 1)

What a ride it's been, 100 episodes so far, I truly can't believe how far this show has come!!
What's better then 1 100th episode, TWO episodes!! We had such a jam packed show we couldn't quite fit it all into 1 so you're getting part one today and then part 2 tomorrow!
Part 1 had 2 great interviews with one of the best to tend the net for the Wildcats in Nic Riopel as well as one of the major pieces brought in this season to help the Wildcats Bo Groulx.

Summerside Sniper

Well it's been 2 weeks so we have some news to talk about! This week it was the signing of Jeremy McKenna to a 2 year deal with the AHL Toronto Marlies, so we had a chance to catch up with Jeremy and discuss his time here in Moncton, his billets, as well how the Marlies contract came about!
We wanted to thank Jeremy for everything on and off the ice and all the success with the Marlies! 
Boucher and Adam had thier thoughts on a few other subjects, including the Masked Singer, the QMJHL draft as well they talked about the 25th Anniversary Fan Favourite Poll that will be on Twitter every Wednesday and Saturday

WORST ENDING EVER!

This may possibly be the BIGGEST what if in Moncton Sports history!! Due to Covid19 the CHL has decided to shut down the season, playoffs through all 3 leagues as well as for the first time in History The Memorial Cup!
"This Sucks" was the theme of this show and for very good reason, as we try to put into words the disappointment and where the Wildcats go from here. 
This was the last regular season show of the season, so I wanna take a moment to give a special thanks to Jeremy for continuing to be the fans favourite Co-Hoster, to the Sponsors Eric Murray Real Estate and the Pumphouse Brewery.
To all the guests that we have had on this show we can't thank you enough for helping to make this show better and of course to ALL OUR FANS..our debt to you can never be paid and for that we THANK YOU!
We are going anywhere, when news breaks we'll be here, we may have some special guests this summer and of course the draft we'll have it covered!
As for next season, we'll be right back here weekly talking about this team and where it needs to go and how it's going during the 25th Anniversary of YOUR MONCTON WILDCATS!

HOME STRETCH

Well..an underwhelming start to the home stand for sure. The Wildcats finished the road trip surviving the Titan but then underwhelmed in the Saturday game vs the Remparts, but rebounded nicely against the Volts. We discuss what to fix via special teams as we get closer to the playoffs
We have a BIG Divisional game vs Eagles tonight, as well we look ahead to the SeaDogs and Mooseheads who on paper aren't doing well but BOTH these teams have something to play for interms of the playoffs!

Record setting Division Champions!

DIVISION CHAMPIONS!! The Wildcats not only set 2 franchise records this past weekend, as they got thier 15th straight victory and points in 21 straight(20-0-1)
Weekly rewind with 3 wins in a row but 2 big games this past weekend, as the Wildcats beat both Chicoutimi and Rimouski on the weekend, sweeping the 2 game season series as well as a dominating victory over Baie-Comeau.
Looking ahead to the week ahead as the Wildcats end the road trip vs Bathurst and then welcome Remparts and Voltigeurs this weekend as well we GIVE TICKETS AWAY with trivia!

Time for a RoadTrip

Well it's time for a road trip, as the Wildcats head out for 3 in Quebec as they take on Sags, Drakkar and Oceanic starting Thursday!
We hit the weekly rewind button and look back to the Wildcats answering the bell in the best game of the year as they defeat the Oceanic, as well continue the streak with wins over Huskies and Moose to make it an even dozen in a row!

What a week for the Wildcats 4 games in 6 days but they came away with 8pts in those games!
Back to Back wins over the SeaDogs, but is Jeremy's mind at ease? Dominant wins over Titan and Moose but why do Adam and Jeremy disagree about the Moose game?!
The 2 hottest teams in the Eastern Conference lock horns tonight as the Wildcats take on Oceanic(possible playoff preview), as well Rouyn-Noranda on Friday and Moose Sunday

3 for 3 in Quebec

What a week it was in not only the QMJHL but for the Wildcats as we come away with 6 points!
The Q was full of news, with coaching change in Shawinigan, new draft rule....maybe?, maritime rivals not exactly travel buddies and Huntley and Rodrigue as part of the QMJHL Team of the Week.
The Wildcats went 3 for 3 in Quebec road trip beating the Armada,Cataractes and Remparts over the weekend! These games were very much a excellent show of the teams playing for each other to get these W and climb the Eastern Conference Standings!
