The Eagles are Landing

It took a little while, but we're finally gonna have a couple games this weekend against a team we haven't seen in the Cape Breton Eagles, and to preview those games we had the Eagles play by play voice Pat McNeil join us.
We recapped the week that was, which didn't start great with 2 losses to SeaDogs, but rebounded with a Pink In The Rink victory over the Titan. We also had Jamie Tozer from Station Nation join us to recap the games last week.

A work in Progress

Pretty good week last week as the Wildcats went 2-1 with back to back home victories over the SeaDogs, but lost a heartbreaker to the Islanders. 
We saw few players get their first goals in Leblanc and Daniel, as well Richard getting first assist. The QMJHL has decided to go with a bubble for the 7 Quebec teams in red zone. We quickly look ahead to this week where the Cats have 3 in 5 nights including the PINK IN THE RINK game Saturday at home to Bathurst.

Back in Win Column

A month into the season, so what have we learned from the teams in the Maritimes Division so far?
Was a eventful weekend for the WIldcats this past week! The Cats had 2 games on the road, and they were successful in extra time but both games were very different.
Looking ahead, we have 3 games in 4 nights, but back to back vs SeaDogs, are they underperforming or are we seeing the true SeaDogs?

Trick or Treat

Well we had some hockey this past week which was the good news, the bad news is the games didn't go the way the fans wanted!
The Cats played host to Bathurst Friday and showed the inexperience in the late collapse and then headed across the Bridge to take on the Islanders and penalties hurt them!
PP and PK are the trick, hopefully they get have some treats this weekend as they head on the road to take on the Mooseheads and Titan

Games Back On...we hope!

Welcome back for a quick episode as it's looking like the Wildcats will be back on the ice for some games this weekend, provided we get out of the Orange Zone.
The Wildcats will be back in action Friday vs Titan and the head over the bridge to take on the Islanders.
We had a "View from the Other Bench" as we had special guest Acadie Bathurst Dman Adam McCormick to discuss about the start to the season for the Titan, as well about the trade from Cape Breton to Bathurst.

Orange Zone

Welcome back to the Wildcast, in what was a interesting weekend in the QMJHL!
The Wildcats were on the road for the first time this weekend, maybe only half the trip happened but it was a successful Friday as they got the come from behind win, with goals from an unlikely source!
Breaking news during the show, that has an effect on this weekends action, which if it's allowed will be home vs SeaDogs & Islanders.

Home Opening Weekend

The Wildcats 25th Season kicked off this weekend, was just great to be back in the rink but the Wildcats went 0-2 losing to the Islanders Friday night and to Titan Sunday afternoon. 
We get into these games, and what didn't quite go right, as well we look ahead to the Wildcats first road trip this weekend vs Halifax and SeaDogs.
We also get into the news from around the Q, as the Armada and Remparts were put on pause and then a positive test for Armada made Phoenix pause activities as well(more test found after recording)

Final PreSeason Show

WE MADE IT!! 
The QMJHL season is 48 hours away and we couldn't be more excited and we had a jam packed show for ya!
We had Jonathon Roy of Sur la Route Du Junior join us to help us talk about the East and West divisions in Quebec as well we get into our predictions of the Golden Puck League Awards and who will be in the QMJHL Presidents Cup Final.
We also had Wildcats Play by Play voice Tim Roszell join us to get his thoughts on what he saw form this young squad during the preseason. Jeremy and I gave our predictions for some Wildcats end of season awards as well

Roster is set....we thought

The Preseason is coming to an end as the Wildcats took on the Titan last Saturday and came close but ultimately lost 5-4 in OT. We saw the roster had been finalized and then we were surprised by a late release Tuesday afternoon.
We get into our "View from the other bench" looking at what to expect from the Cape Breton Eagles this season and had a chat with friend of the show and voice of the Eagles Pat McNeil about the upcoming season. 
Final preseason game is this Friday, will we see Fortier in the lineup?

Don't Panic, it's preseason

We are getting closer to the regular season, as the Wildcats know only have 2 games left, sadly the Cats dropped the game Sunday to the Eagles 7-4, but can get back in the win column next Saturday vs Titan.
We break down our thoughts not only on the goaltending with the quick question, but also the 20 year old situation now that Fortier is back and in quaratine.
We go across the bridge for a "View from the Other Bench" and preview the Charlottetown Islanders season, how close are they this year, as well we have a chat with 20 yr old Thomas Casey on his Q career and about this season.
