QMJHL PreDraft Show 1

We're back for our annual QMJHL Pre Draft show, but first we had to settle the Battle of Alberta Debt and then we answered some of the #Fanistners questions. 
As well it was good to be back in the studio after a week break to enjoy some travel as well the QMJHL President Cup Final has begun and the the Islanders are down 2-0 after some controversy!
 Couple Guests this week as Jamie Tozer (host of Station Nation) joined us to talk all things SeaDogs as they have another new head coach and are getting ready for the Memorial Cup and Pat McNeil (Cape Breton Eagles PxP voice) joining us to talk about the upcoming draft as the Eagles won the lottery and will select 1st overall at the QMJHL Draft!
We're back for one more show, then off for 2 weeks but back just in time for the QMJHL Draft Monday July 4th and Tuesday July 5th

Season Review Pt 2

Welcome back for part 2 of our season review, we had the defence and goalies in part 1, so now we focus on the forward group. 
We also kinda look ahead with one thing on AND off the ice we would like to see next year.

Season Review Part 1

We're coming to the end of the Podcast season, but this week it's the Wildcats Season Review (Part 1). 
We get into a Battle of Alberta as the Flames and Oilers get into it in Round 2, so naturally we have to have a jersey bet, as well talk Round 2 of the #QPlayoffs 
We did the player report cards for the Goalies and Defense, which of course took a little bit of time

Playoffs Are Over

Just like that the Wildcats run to the President Cup is over, as they were swept by the the Charlottetown Islanders. 
The Wildcats weren't ready for playoff hockey, and the Islanders showed another gear in the 3 games and weren't really tested. This team showed heart all season and we're proud of the effort but they just ran into a goliath in round 1.

Playoffs ARE HERE!!

We've made it, through 68 games, and now it's time to get excited for the playoffs with our Playoff Preview!
We went through the playoff schedule giving our picks for each series, didn't see many upsets, few sweeps and then we got into the Wildcats/Islanders series. It's not going to be an easy series as these division rivals leave nothing left to the unknown!
We had a "View from the other bench" with Nick Marek of the Portland Winterhawks to talk Eastern Conference and Guy Flaming of the Oil Kings to talk Western Conference in the WHL Playoffs

Merry Clinchmas

The Wildcats have clinched a spot in the 2022 QMJHL Playoffs!! 
We first take a look back at the 2020 draft, and ask the question, would we do anything differently?
We were joined by Kortney Kenney of The Frontline Podcast, the official podcast of the North Bay Battalion to get a preview of not only North Bay's series vs Ottawa but also the OHL playoffs and a little draft chat. 
We recap the weekend including the clinching game vs Titan

Split in Quebec

We're back in the studio after Boucher is done with Covid protocol and it was a good quite Easter Weekend for the both of us. 
The Wildcats went 2-2 on the road trip (4 games in 5 days) and also got the PP going on the trip as well. 
We're in the home stretch with only 6 games left in the season before the platoffs start.

Homestand Success

So were back to the phone call podcast this week as Boucher has entered Covid Protocol this past week!
The Wildcats finish the homestand with points in 3 of 4 games, including a 2 wins and OT loss, but didn't get off to a good start in Halifax to begin the 5 game road trip before the head to Quebec for 4 in 5 days.
News and Notes has some interesting ideas/rumours for fighting and the 20yr old situation.

Mini Series

The Wildcats fell into a trap this past week, giving up points at this time of year, it's never a good thing as they look to stay out of lottery spot for 2nd year in a row. 
The Wildcats go 1-3 as they lose a "trap game" to the Eagles and then lost 2 of 3 vs the Titan over the weekend but the biggest concern would have to be the fact they went 0/20 on the PP in those 4 games!

Johnny Rocket in Studio

Welcome in to a special episode, as we had friend of the show Jonathon Roy (Johnny Rocket) from Brin d'jasette Podcast, formally of Sur la route du Junior joined us IN STUDIO as he made his first trip to Moncton!
We talked about a bunch of topics from BSB to diaper parties to what the rest of the season looks like for the Titan. 
Got his thoughts on the Avenir Centre, as well coach Clarke coming to Bathurst and what the Titan could look like next season.
