Good Weekend!

Boucher is on the road again, which means no YouTube this week, but that didn't stop us and how we're feeling about this hockey club. The Wildcats are 4-0 since Boucher sat down to write his feelings out!
The Local Sports Pub Weekly Rewind was a little more jovial this week as the Wildcats got 2 MASSIVE wins vs teams they are in the playoff hunt with in Baie-Comeau & Chicoutimi in SO. Wildcats now sit 4pts out of 3rd and 2pts out of 4th behind Rimouski & Chicoutimi respectively.

Playoff Push

We are one month away from the playoffs, as we get into the #MarchToThePlayoffs, and so we thought why not take a look back on some of our Wildcats award predictions from the preseason. 
The Local Sports Pub Weekly Rewind had us talking about 2 of 3 wins for the Wildcats allowing them to position themselves in the race for playoff home ice. But the loss Thurs to SJ had us questioning a few things BEFORE they got the 2 wins over the weekend so Boucher had a heartfelt response to the Wildcats going into the last months of the season.

2 Steps back this week!

Boucher is back in studio this week after an explosive family day weekend in NS, and the Wildcast Studios is moving!! Layla and Adam bought a house with the help of Eric Murray, so we'll have a new studio before the playoffs!!
Local Sports Pub Weekly Rewind had us VERY frustrated on AND off the ice with 3 losses to Sherbrooke and 2 vs Halifax. After winning 2 of 3, the Wildcats lost 3 of 4 on the weekend and will now have a bumpy road to the finish line.

A Couple Wins this week!

Little different this week as Boucher was in SJ this week so we did it via phone call for the show as Adam was in the studio alone this week as we discussed the Rihanna Concert in the middle of a football game. 
Boucher puts a different spin on his Team of the Week as he uses it to look at some Moncton Wildcats prospects having good years in the pipeline.
The Local SportsPub Weekly Rewind had us a little happier as the Wildcats won 2/3 to end the 6 game road trip, the 2 wins weren't perfect but they were wins and now they have a tough 4 in 5 nights with 3 in 3 vs Sherbrooke & home and home with Mooseheads

Breaking Point

We are back this week and nothing has really changed, some of us got older, and some of us finding out we raised a prankster!

What IS Happening 2.0?!

So is not the same show as last week but is it time for a new voice, and if it is, who "could" it be? We through some names out, but theyre in a very tough spot with only 2 months left in season but also a year where we're "supposed" to contend.
The Local Sports Pub #WeeklyRewind was another week with losses, another week with no answers?! The Wildcats lost BOTH games over the weekend and now head out on a VERY tough 6 game road trip, where 3 of those games are against top 4 teams in the league (Gat-Vic-Que).

What’s Happened to the Wildcats?!

We're back for another episode after the storm rolls through the Maritimes but it's not just off the ice that's been stormy, the Wildcats are snowed under so far in the past two weeks. 
The Weekly Rewind presented by The Local Sports Pub was not great, lost 2 of 3 including to the last place Islanders and Sags (midst of 3 in 3) and it just was lackluster in both games. 
So how do they fix it and is Lacroix on the hot seat with 2 home games this weekend as part of Timbits Weekned..we discuss

Special Guest Mathias Muller In Studio

Welcome back for a second episode this week, this one was a little different but a very fun interview. We were joined in studio by Mr Mathias Muller, father of Miles Muller of your Moncton Wildcats. 
It was a fun chat, where we talked about having a son playing in another country, as well how Moncton was able to land Miles in the draft without an import roster spot. How is hockey different in Switzerland as well we chatted about his role as President of the Lyss HC. 
Once again, thank you to Mr Muller for taking the time to be in studio and chat with us, always fun to do a different type of interview!

Wildcats Cooling off like the Weather?

The weather couldn't stop us, as we are back for another episode. The Local Sports Pub Weekly Rewind had the Wildcats with one game cancelled over the weekend on Friday due to weather (so good to say that after 2 years) but we had 2 games that yes they were in but special teams was the difference as the Wildcats let the Remparts and Mooseheads go 50% on the PP, not a great recipe and they went 0-2 in those.
We got a little of topic during the "News and Notes Around the Q" as we look WAY ahead to the QMJHL Draft in Sherbrooke and maybe a Wildcats/Phoenix trade that sets the dominoes falling to a roster that could host the 2025 Memorial Cup?!

200th Episode

We are back for our 200th episode and it's a big one as we the begin the 2nd half of the season looking back at the World Juniors and the Trade Deadline. 
We got off to a hot start to begin the 2nd half going 5-1 in 6 games and 3-0 to begin 2023, we had some new faces in the lineup as Plandowski and Trenholm make their debuts at home as we get into the Weekly Rewind presented by new sponsor The Local Sports Pub.
