Halfway Through

We are at the halfway mark of Wildcats Training Camp, but that doesn't mean the work stops. 
The Wildcats we 2-1 this past week to bring the record to 2- 4 on the Preseason, we finally played a team outside of NB (could have been a better ending)
Couple trades last week, most of the cuts were made to get this roster close to opening night shape. 
We get a "View from the Other Bench" with the voice of the Halifax Mooseheads Garreth MacDonald to talk about the upcoming season for the Moose.

Roster Predictions

Well we're into week 2 of Training Camp now that vets are here, we've had the first round of cuts last weekend, after the 2 games vs SeaDogs. Few surprises for us in the first set of cuts for both Jeremy and I.
We got a "View from the Other Bench" as we got up with voice of the Cape Breton Eagles and friend of the show Pat McNeil joined us to give us update on the training camp, and off season.
We have a NEW CONTEST at the end of the show, as well we give our roster predictions for opening night in Bathurst
Wildcats were in Bathurst for preseason during recording & are at the Uniplex tonight vs Titan.

Going Camping

It's official we are underway at Wildcats Training Camp!  Rookie Camp kicked off Monday with few practices before the first Red & White game yesterday. 
Not much to go off of as it was the first scrimmage, but a few players caught our eye during the scrimmage. 
With all the young talent in camp this week we brought in special guest Head Scout for the Moncton Wildcats Alex Gauthier to discuss scouting as well as some of the rookies in the camp!
We FINALLY have a game to preview, even being a rookie game vs the SeaDogs...lol

Season 5 Premier!!

We're back for another season baby!!
Just good to be back in the studio to get you ready for training camp, as we don't have a roster as of yet but we break down who we're excited to see.
It's not a premier episode unless we have some great guests, and we couldn't have just one so we got 2, we were pleased to welcome hometown hero's from Alex & Allain Saulnier!! We get into there time with the Flyers, Wilcats and UdeM. Also what they're up to these days in life after hockey.
Excited to be back, and talking Training camp as we get ready for 25th season of the Wildcats

Post QMJHL Draft Show

It's the final show of the year for us presented by Muddy Rudder Bar and Grill as we recap the 2021 QMJHL Draft.
We couldn't do a post draft show without having the Director of Hockey Operations Ritchie Thibeau join us to discuss his weekend as well looking ahead to the battles in what will be a very contested Training Camp!

DRAFT PRESHOW

Season 4 Finale

Another season has come and gone, this was one of the weirdest and hopefully never duplicated again with the late starts, restarts and delays! 
We take a look back on what we saw from this team this season, and in looking back we had a special guest join us, your C #92 Jacob Hudson was kind enough to come on and have a chat about his time in Moncton, and his jersey being in the Hall of Fame, among other topics!
We looked ahead to a roster, that seems on paper to be tough to find spots for everyone that made an impact here this past season!

End Of the Road

Hearts were broken over the weekend as the Wildcats were a post away from a chance to have a win and in game, but injuries just were too much to over come in the round robin. 
We recap the final week of the playoffs for the Wildcats, we have a special guest join us from Sur la route du junior Jonathan Roy to give us a quick a preview of Round 2 between Titan and Islanders. He looks back on the round robin as well, and just some good chatter!

No Boucher this week, so Adam kicked it old school like in the early days of the show and recorded solo (so bear with him..lol)
We are right smack dab in the middle of this NB Playoff Round Robin! The Wildcats are 1-2 after 3 games but could make some noise with a W and each team at 2-2 with two games left.
Could the Wildcats get a jolt from a significant player returning to the lineup tonight?!

Playoff Time is Upon Us!!

The Irregular Regular season is now COMPLETE!! The Moncton Wildcats will now compete in a 9 game round Robin to determine who will face the Charlottetown Islanders for the Maritime Division Championship!
The Playoffs begin tonight with Game 1 in Saint John, so we brought on some help to preview not only that game but the others as well, we had guest Jaime Tozer from Station Nation join us tonight.
